Scope of Work: ERSI was selected as the Prime contractor by ERS Investments for the asbestos abatement, pharmaceutical decontamination, as well as structural demolition of Pfizer’s former 800,000 sf manufacturing facility.
ERS Investments acquired the former Pfizer site in late 2018 with a goal of decommissioning & demolishing in the calendar year of 2019. ERSI became solely responsible for all site activities to accomplish this goal. Throughout the year-long process, ERSI decommissioned 800,000 sf of building to prevent pharma migration during demolition, completed ~$2MM of abatement work, as well as 800,000 sf of industrial demolition.
